This session will look at a framework for creating environments to help student learn to creatively solve open-ended problems through quickly generating and evaluating ideas - one of guided failure. Models such as design thinking will be reviewed that emphasis the importance of diverse teams, developing empathy and seeking multiple paths rather than a single outcome.
